Gracewinds Recognized at America's Small Business Summit
04/28/08- Gracewinds' CEO, Chris Wallace, represented the company at the US Chamber of Commerce awards banquet in Washington DC April 17, 2008. Gracewinds CEO receives national award for "Women Business Owner Trailblazer" June 1st 2007
The NAWBO/ Wells Fargo Trailblazer award recognizes three women entrepreneurs from a nationwide pool of applicants based their companies' business performance, innovation, growth and personal service to the community. Christine Wallace, President and Founder of Gracewinds Perinatal Services, Inc. will be one of the recipients at the national conference in Atlanta GA. on June 1st. NAWBO President, Joy Ott says, "The diverse talent and leadership demonstrated by these three women is inspiring and extends far beyond the walls of their businesses. They are leaders not only in business, but in their communities. This is why we salute and recognize the contributions of women entrepreneurs nationwide. Christine Wallace awarded SBA "Women in Business Champion" 2007
03/01/07 - Christine Wallace, Founder and Director of Gracewinds has received the Small Business Adminstration's Women in Business Champion Award. Criteria for the award emphasizes efforts to promote and support women-owned businesses. She accepted the award at McCaw Hall, on May 4th 2007 for both the State of Washington and the Western Region X (WA, OR, ID, AK).
